Choose Your Bextgoo Camera: POV Recording or Door Monitoring

Start with what you want to capture. Recording your own trip and checking a visitor at the door require different equipment. This guide separates those jobs, then shows what to measure or prepare.

Travel and cycling: record a first-person story

Consider M11 when a compatible mount lets you capture selected first-person clips while keeping your phone available for other tasks. It records 4K video; nearby camera WiFi supports preview and transfers. It is not cellular surveillance that you can view from another location.

For a day trip, plan the moments to film, check the mount while stationary and reserve battery and storage for the return. Follow the six-shot travel plan and M11 first-use checklist.

Choose the housing package only after checking its actual contents and instructions. The standard listing states a 140° lens and the housing listing 150°; their stated runtime limits also differ. Compare the exact packages. The bare camera is IP65, not immersion-rated.

At home: check visitors using an indoor screen

Peephole doorbell product image. Measure the opening and door thickness before choosing.

The 2K peephole doorbell includes a 4.3-inch indoor screen and a 32GB card. It can suit households that want to check visitors without reaching for a phone; remote app functions need a working 2.4GHz WiFi internet connection and the correct permissions.

  1. Measure door thickness at the edge: the stated range is 40–110 mm.
  2. Measure the existing peephole opening across its center: the stated diameter range is 15–45 mm. Do not measure only the decorative outer rim.
  3. Check clearance on both door faces and permission before altering a rented or specialist door. If removing a viewer to measure is unclear, ask an installer.
  4. Check 2.4GHz signal at the door and plan access for charging. Test the image, doorbell response and saved recording before final mounting.

If you need remote monitoring where there is no fixed WiFi, read the no-WiFi camera guide and check a suitable cellular model. M11’s nearby connection does not meet that requirement.

Check contents, extra costs and the first-day routine

  • Use the current price and package contents on the exact product page. Do not assume every similarly named bundle includes the same mount or housing.
  • A compatible optional mount, replacement card or accessory is a separate purchase when not included.
  • The doorbell’s optional cloud service is separate from its included local card and your home internet. Confirm current terms before subscribing.
  • Keep the setup instructions available, rehearse playback and save important clips before storage is reused.
